Bulgaria's young tennis star Grigor Dimitrov won his second title from a men's futures tennis tournament after grabbing the trophy at hard-court ITF tournament in the Madrid suburb of Mostoles on September 14 2008.
Dimitrov was victorious against local favourite, third-seeded Ignacio Coll-Riudavets, in straight sets (7-6, 6-3) after one hour and 45 minutes of play.
To reach the final Dimitrov had to go through another Spaniard, David Canudas-Fernandez. He won in two sets (6-4, 6-4).
Dimitrov did not lose a single set during the entire tournament. This was the 17-year-old Bulgarian's first tournament win after taking the title at the 2008 US Open Junior tournament in September. Two months earlier he won the junior title at Wimbledon.
Dimitrov is currently ranked 746 in the world with 22 points. In May, he won his first futures tournament on the clay of Valldoreix, also in Spain.
