Natural & Organic, a young Bulgaria company that aims to "promote green living, the organic market and optimum nutrition" in the country, is holding a seminar entitled How to Be Healthy, or what healthy eating and a healthy way of life means, on June 16 to 18 2008.
It is to take place at Mag Studio, number 13 of 20 April Street in Sofia, from 6.30pm to 9pm.
Leading the seminar will be health and lifestyle coach Petya Apostolova, dietologist Dr Daniel Dimitrov, organic food specialist Olga Apostolova and Tai Chi Qigong specialist Dr Doriyan Alexandrov. The cost of participation is 80 leva per person, with groups of five or more receiving a discount.
Topics to be covered include what healthy eating is and how to eat in such a way, how to build a nutritionally balanced daily menu, how to reduce stress in everyday situations, what food allergies are and how to seek out professional help, how to help ourselves and those close to us when it comes to common health problems, wise sectioning of food products, why Tai Chi benefits our immune system, Tai Chi and its basic positions and more.
June 16 is dedicated to healthy living, led by Petya Apostolova, June 17 to a healthy diet, led by Dimitrov, and June 18 to organic food and to Tai Chi, led by Olga Apostolova and Alexandrov. The final session includes a Tai Chi workshop, so participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing.
All who attend the seminar receive a certificate of participation, a cookery book with quick, healthy recipes , material for note-taking and free tea, sandwiches and snacks during the breaks.
