MAKE YOUR WEEK GREENER: This week - Make your office green

A recent edition of the daily newspaper Dnevnik had a free pocket guide to a greener office. The guide is a collaboration between the teams behind Gorichka and Dnevnik.

We have put together an in-depth, informative guide to the endless ways you can save energy and resources while at work. There are chapters on energy, recycling, transport, becoming CO2 neutral, water, furniture, cleaning detergents, coffee and tea, as well as organising environmentally and socially responsible team-building sessions.

To make the guide user-friendly, we divided each chapter into advice that can be followed by managers (let's face it, buying energy efficient PCs or photocopiers doesn't depend on the individual employee) and advice for the individual employee - for example switching off your computer at the end of the working day or taking your plastic cups or bottles to the recycling bin.

This is the first definitive guide to creating a green office in Bulgarian and we are hopeful that your business will embrace the idea.
