French, UK, Asian, Italian, US, Bulgarian and independent cinema will be shown during the 21st Cinemania film fest to be held between November 2 and 29 2007.

A total of 73 films by 35 directors would be shown during the fest. Most of the films, 53, would be screened only during the event, netinfo.bg reported.

Andrei Konchalovsky, Alejandro González Iñáritu, Cohen brothers, Gus van Sant and Wim Wenders are among the directors, whose work will be shown during the fest.

The programme includes three Indian films, a retrospective of the French director Jacques Demy and two films in memoriam of the great directors Michelangelo Antonioni and Ingmar Bergman.

Tickets for the screenings will vary from five to seven leva.

The widely commented Chacun son cinema will open the fest. The film is considered a masterpiece. It was made for the jubilee of the film festival in Cannes. The film unites 33 separate pieces of cinema, mixing cultures, nationalities and talents. The pieces are dedicated to the inspiration a director receives in the cinema hall.
