THREE-HOUR MANOWAR ROCK MARATHON ENDS BULGARIA'S KALIAKRA ROCK FEST

Manowar made Kaliakra rock fest audience ecstatic during the final performance of the event.

More than 15 000 fans enjoyed a three-hour long metal marathon, avtora.com reported.

Manowar's supporting group, Russia's Sixth Sense, performed instrumental version of the Bulgarian national anthem.

The main warm-up group was Holyhell. The group's vocal Maria Breon showed her exceptional talent. In the end of her performance Manowar's vocal Eric Adams surprised the audience by appearing on the scene and singing together with Breon.
Manowar's founder and bassist Joey DeMaio said to his fans that the group came for the first time in Bulgaria but it would not be the last.

In the middle of the concert DeMaio chose a fan who played together with the group and afterwards received one of Manowar's guitars as present.

Metal fans heard for the first time in Bulgaria hits like Holy War, The Gods Made Heavy Metal, Brothers of Metal, Kill with Power and Hail and Kill.

The spectacular show will be recorded on a DVD entitled Live in Bulgaria.
