BULGARIA TO PAY 20 MILLION EURO FOR MOUNTAIN PASS REPAIR

The repair of Hainboaz mountain road pass located near the city of Veliko Turnovo would cost nearly twenty million euro, Dnevnik newspaper said.

The repair works would last 18 months, Dnevnik said. During that time the pass would be closed and the traffic would be re-directed through Kotlen pass.

Part of the main road from Sofia to Varna near Veliko Turnovo was being rehabilitated, Dnevnik said.

Renovation of the roads in the Veliko Turnovo region would cost nearly 30 million euro, Dnevnik said.

Regional Development and Public Works Ministry would pay 1.6 million euro for construction and reconstruction of municipal roads in the region, Dnevnik said.

National Road Infrastructure fund would finance other road reconstructing project costing 20.5 million leva.
