When dating Bulgarians beware of using the shaking of the head to communicate your response. Little did I know that when this charming ski instructor asked me to marry him and I vehemently shook my head, that I was actually accepting his proposal. That was 13 years ago and of course I am only joking, but take care -  it can lead to confusion!
