Three people died and two were injured in a car blast in Nessebar (on the Black Sea) Friday afternoon, announced the spokesman of the Bourgas regional directorate of the Interior Ministry, Stefcho Kutsarov. According to police, the blast was intended for alleged drug lord Dimitar Zhelyazkov. He was one of the suspects in the bombing of the Fenessi club in Bourgas last January 25, in which the owner of the club, Plamen Dishkov, was seriously injured and two of his friends were killed.

One of the victims in Friday's blast was Zhelyazkov's wife Tanya. The other two victims, Nikolai Buchvarov and Slavcho Dereliev, were allegedly Zhelyazkov's business partners. Two bystanders - a 24-year-old man and a nine-year-old boy - were slightly injured.
