The Bulgarian women's 4x7.5km relay team came sixth in the biathlon world championships in Pokljuka, Slovenia, on Friday. The team, composed of Pavlina Filipova, Irina Nikulchina, Radka Popova and Ekaterina Dafovska, could not catch Russia, Germany or the Ukraine who finished first, second and third respectively.

Filipova finished fourth in the 12.5km mass event last Thursday, without missing a single shot for the first time. She lost the bronze medal after a photo finish.
